Delete your account and data

You can delete your account and everything attached to it at any time, either from inside the app or by asking us over email.

From inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Rayan and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. You may be asked to sign in with Google again so we can be sure it is you.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

By email request

Write to [email protected] from the same email address as your account, asking for account deletion. We ask that it come from the same address so we can confirm the request is yours. We complete deletion within 30 days at the latest, and usually far sooner.

What is deleted

• The sign-in account itself (Google / Firebase Authentication).
• The child's first name.
• The chosen city, language, and reminder setting.
• The entire prayer record and all streaks.
• Every collected card and the album.

What remains

Anonymous usage events — which screen was opened, that some prayer was logged — remain in aggregate counts. These were never linked to your account or your child's name at any point: each event carries only a random identifier belonging to that installation of the app, and contains nothing pointing back to you. So nothing linkable to you survives the deletion.
